I’m happy to be appointed to the role of President for the OCJA. Community Corrections is such a diverse field with many elements and service areas. One of the benefits of my position is that I have an understanding of both front line service delivery, and some of the challenges faced by those in a managerial capacity. I invite you to share your concerns and give feedback on any justice related issue, as the OCJA has been recognized as a valued stakeholder by the Ministry of Community Safety, Children and Youth, Attorney General and Ministry of Finance. Our representatives attend advisory councils and roundtables with these Ministries throughout the year. Please contact me directly if you represent a community justice agency in Ontario and are interested in membership with the OCJA.
